We went to the T-Bones home opener last night!!
Well... it's Saturday morning (cold, rainy start to the Memorial day weekend), I have a mild, low-grade hangover, and am working my way through a pot of coffee while the rest of the family (and the damn dog) all sleep in.... Tracy has been asking me to post something to her (our?) blog, so this seems like a good time to sit with my new toy and let loose with the ramblings...
!!!! ... ROAD TRIP ... !!!!!

Where to start --- well, as some of you know, my buddy Chris "Mental" Ward, and I, did a long weekend trip to Daytona (Ward's the tall, skinny guy with the tire fetish)... last year for the Rolex 24-Hour. Well, it's time to go again... this time, we are going West instead of East, back to my Mormon roots in Utah -- and I am taking said new-toy to blog the whole trip.
We are going to Miller Motorsport Park in Toole, Utah for the HANNSpree Superbike World Championship, brought to you by... StriVectin-SD --- YEP the WORLD RENOUND stretchmark removal cream. Apparently both RedBull and Anheuser-Bush said "No"... Hmmmm, not the most manly of sponsors... but I guess these are mostly European and South American sportbike racers, so I guess it's not totally lost.
Here is the route (all 1223 miles of it --- each way), and I have one stop in Colorado Springs CO to pick up Ward and the trailer.
This should be fun.... the only SUCK part is that gas is pushing $4 a gallon, and I will probably need about 125-150 gallons. OUCH!!!!! More to follow...
-------------------------------------
Oh... and here is some additional miscellaneous ramblings... not really worth your time... but since your hear, and I still have some coffee left, feel free to stick around....Both Tracy and I upgraded our mobile phones last month -- and instead of trading mine in for a $10 credit (woo-hoo!!!!) I decided to Craigs-list it... for $50. Apparently that is pretty low, cuz I have had several serious offers (hope to dump it today), but I also got this:

Oh -- OK... and let me guess, you are also African royalty who has been exiled in Cammeroon, an d if I send you $5,000 you will send me $5,000,000 upon your release. NOT!
AND... given I am a typical, gluttonous, super-sized American, I need REAL motivation to get off my ever-expanding ass to do much of anything (I am pretty sure the SOLE reason I run is because I love to drink beer and eat ice cream). Welp... I have some motivation, in that my 20th High School reunion is coming up in a couple of months. So after MONTHS of ignoring my gym membership (Xtreme Fitness), I called them up and they answered the phone "Gold's Gym, how may I help you?" Hmmm, guess it HAS been awhile... so, long story longer --- Tracy and I are now Gold's Gym members, and I went one step further and purchased 36 sessions with a personal trainer. "Vanity", thy name is Daron. I think I will also chronicle those happenings on my own blog....
What else is going on in my world? Tracy and I are going to do the Kansas City Dirty Duo; just not with each other... so -- per my usual competitive self -- I plan on kicking her ass all over the park :)
Oh... and I have already registered for the KC Marathon... five months to prep for 26 miles... more motivation :)
Welp, that is probably enuf rambing for now
