Yes we got a hot tub. Have been enjoying it since we got it too! :-)

Colorado Trip

Guess who finally went on their skiing trip???

If you didn't hear, we spent the Holiday break on a ski trip with our friends. A friend of ours let us rent their beautiful cabin near Breckenridge,CO (http://www.mariesnest.com/).

We stayed their with some close friends of the family and enjoyed the skiing, snow, and festive spirits. It was really nice because the kids had friends to play with as did the adults. :-) The first two days we just got acclimated to the high altitude as the cabin was at approximately 12,000 Feet. We spent some days hiking around the cabin, playing in the snow, and shopping in Breckenridge.

Some of the adults went to an Oxygen Bar to prepare themselves. Don't they looked relaxed.

Our van and truck were packed for the 20 minute trek to the slopes. As you see we are ready to go on the winding and curvy road. Daron and Bill had the white knuckles to prove it.

The first day everyone except Bill, Daron, and I took lessons. Each of us got used to the slopes and had lots of fun in the snow. Daron and I took a few pictures on the different slopes to include pictures of the kids in the classes. Since it was cold, we are covered really well so the coats helped us define our kids. :-)

At the top of Peak 8, Daron and I ate at this nice restaurant and took some pictures of the Continental Divide and surrounding mountains at our view from the top.

Each night driving back to the cabin we had some tired kids.

Since we were there during Christmas, we brought some of the presents to celebrate the season. As you can see we had some nice games and movies that was nice for us to share during our stay.
