MY BIG KIDS !Zoe and Zander officially started school and are enjoying seeing their friends, riding the bus, and, of course, lunch. They know they have to do homework and classwork but they seem to enjoy the other school activities more. :-) Zoe has joined the Stallions Choir group and Zander is quickly meeting his healthy exercise goals.
In addition to school, they each have an extra fall activity. Zoe is cheerleading and Zander is playing tackle football in the Lees Summit Football Association.
This is Zander's first year in tackle football and he is picking up things quickly. They lost their first game but it was due to more penalties than playing. As they learn the game more, they will be a team to fear. Zoe is enjoying the SPIRIT side of the sport and sporting a new short hairdo too! She is cheering for a 5th grade boys football team, THE BEARCATS, in the same league. The cheerleading association was initiated this year so is still small. She is on a 3 person team with her good friend, Courtney, and a new friend, Tierney. So when Daron and I aren't watching college or pro football, we have the kids to enjoy. :-)
